Junior Software Project Manager required - Dublin 15
We have a temporary position available immediately for 10 months for a dynamic, ambitious, Junior Project Manager in our Dublin 15 office.
Job Profile:
The Junior Project Manager will be responsible for planning, leading, organising and controlling multiple I.T. projects and will work with a team of software developers, business analysts, test engineers, and the sales / pre-sales teams. S/he will also be expected to manage customer expectations to ensure successful delivery of solutions in a competitive and achievable manner.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all stages of the software lifecycle for several projects across Ocuco Group while maintaining focus on the Customer.
- Coordinate our Business Analysts, Developers, QA team, Professional Services Engineers and Customers to ensure all are successfully participating in the projects being managed.
- Quality Assurance - ensuring procedures are being followed and reviewing results.
- Risk analysis management and reporting.
- Project status reporting.
The successful candidate must:
- Have superb self-management and administration skills,
- Have strong organisational skills - where this relates to people, data, documentation etc,
- Be excellent at dealing with and motivating people,
- Have excellent communication skills with perfectly fluent English,
- Be experienced and confident in customer-facing skills,
- Be able to take responsibility for the projects, while earning the respect of developers so as to get jobs done without needing to escalate to a senior manager.
The ideal candidate should also have:
- Degree, ideally in Computer Science / Engineering,
- Knowledge of software lifecycle,
- Professional Project Management accreditation,
- Account management skills and Business analyst skills.
